Every Camps International program (department) has this in common, all are about making camps happen.
Camp Duffel is a summer program that starts at Los Domos and reaches out to fledgling camps. Duffel staff get trained at Los Domos, they cram 50 pounds of specialized transportable activities and fun stuff into a duffel bag and jump on a bus. In a jam-packed summer, they travel around Mexico or Latin America coming along side people at host churches (or camping areas). After training, they stick close to support the church in the execution of their camp program with their kids. Then it’s on to another camp.
Los Domos is primarily a research and development site for Christian camps in Mexico and beyond. Preference is given to training events. Program is developed for all ages. When camp events are hosted it is most often in cooperation with the local church and is specialized to their children ages 8-17. Millions of kids are growing up without the opportunity to know Christ. To catch up, we help others do camp.
A volunteer program that sends people where they’re most needed to enable the growth and development of Christian camps.
RYCCA’s mission is to provide places where trained leaders allow small groups to experience creation and the Lord of Creation. We do that by working through the local church.
Cabins for Kids
Cabins for Kids is a way for you at home to participate in what’s happening at camp (in far away places). Offering what you have (time, talent, treasure) so that others can learn about what God has to offer. Cabins for Kids has great plans to spread geodesic dome structures across the world, generating secure facilities where children can learn about God.
Eureka Camps are a hands-on approach to academics in the outdoors. Eureka Camps endeavor to integrate facts in real time with real consequences through activities to make education more dynamic and practical for children. Eureka Camps are tailored to the student/camper by the teacher/camp counselor.
